REPORTS TO: VP Global Operations, JCH in solid (VP China Business Unit in dotted)

SUPERVISES: Plant Operations, Supply Chain, Continuous Improvement, Program Management, Quality Manufacturing Engineering, Environment & Health Safety (EHS). As a dotted manager, work with corporate Functions in Wuhu such as Finance, Procurement, IT, HR, etc.

RESPONSIBILITY LEVEL:
The Plant General Manager (GM) is responsible for overseeing all operations within the plant to ensure production goals are met efficiently and cost-effectively while maintaining high standards of quality and safety.
Reporting to VP Global Operations of JCH, direct responsibility for Wuhu plant operation and Wuhu transition from an operations/manufacturing view. Main responsibility is to ensure that:
? Meet or exceed customers’ expectations
? Achieve JCH organizational goals while adhering to Best Business Practices, Budgets, EHS, housekeeping standards and appropriate labor relations
? Implement and maintain JCH/JCI global standards in the Wuhu plant
? Maintain constructive relationship with local government leaders

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
1. Create vision and provide leadership to develop and implement operation plans and goals
2. Ensure to adhere all JCH policies & guidelines and to fully align with company directions which include development of both business and organization & people.
3. Achieve volume, production cost and quality targets
4. Achieve KPI targets
5. Operation capacity growth according to business plans of Wuhu Factory
6. Ensures that plants are managed so that adequate plan quality systems are in place and followed to achieve quality objectives
7. Oversee accurate production, capacity planning and purchasing based on the strategy
8. Develop succession plans and management development plans.
9. Ensure that all projects are implemented according to planned timing, budget and objectives
10. Assure implementation of continuous improvement activities including JCMS and best business practices in all activities in Wuhu Factory
11. Leads and Supports development of teams and leaders to support planned growth in Wuhu Factory
12. Ensure continued transparent communication at all levels.
13. Ensure that employee relations are maintained.
14. Establish and keep required relationship with other regions and provide adequate resources to support growth in other regions
15. Maintain positive relationship with local Wuhu government officials
16. Enhance and manage transition of plant equipment and operations from “old” Wuhu site to new facility.
17. Perform other duties as assigned.

REQUIREMENTS:
Bachelor’s degree in Operation Management, Business, Engineering, (MBA preferred) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
8- 12 years + HVAC manufacturing experience including management responsibilities with at least 5 years in a leadership role.
Experience in high-volume HVAC manufacturing environment required
Experience with demand modeling and statistical forecasting techniques
Experience with planning in a Global environment
Demonstrated capability to drive and execute projects.
Track record of understanding the voice of the customer and implement solutions that have a satisfying user experience.
Ability to work in cross-functional environment provide confident leadership, and communicate with impact.
Fluency in Chinese and English is required
Understanding of and management under JCMS preferred
