This exciting role offers opportunity to:
- Enhance the global and Region policy implementation and risk management
- Procurement of indirect Category & Commodities (MRO, Facility Services, Packaging, and other service etc.) for Eaton through bidding, benchmarking, and negotiation;
- Collaborates with stakeholders to achieve assigned special projects and or initiative outcomes
- Supplier base development, prequalification and management to ensure cost-effective supply with consistent quality and acceptable service & delivery levels;
- In compliance with Eaton procurement policy and T&Cs; Monitors and reports Operations’ compliance to service agreements and strategy
- Assist all functions in negotiating long term contracts to ensure optimal supply and cost structures as well as filling
- Data collection and analysis with accuracy, with ERP system maintenance if need.
- Support APAC indirect manager to establishes and leads regional/country cross-functional, multi operation supplier selection process teams
- Keep efficient communication within user department and SCM interfaces
- Liaison with all levels of Eaton businesses and external vendors/suppliers whilst maintaining excellent customer relationships;
- Eaton System monitor and maintenance, to keep the data accuracy (CODB, e-Room etc.)
- Drive IDM annual goal achievement(COST out, DPO, ECOOTHI etc)
- Communicate among related functions to effectively resolve purchasing issues and maximize customer satisfaction;
- Supervision the site Indirect Purchasing team . Provide guidance and people management.
Requirement:
- Bachelor’s degree or above.
- At least 8 years related working and 5 years+ management experience;
- Have understanding of the business unit needs at a sub-regional level
- Understands technical specifications, product performance requirements, manufacturing processes, and end user expectations
- Possesses strong negotiation and supplier management skills
- Ability to develop and negotiate effective commercial contracts on behalf of Eaton.
- Maintains awareness of other functional roles and responsibilities and how they support Corporate and business objectives
- Possesses intimate knowledge of labor industry trends and risks
- Has e-Procurement implementation experience;
- Understands international tax, duty, tariff implications for global commodities;
- Fluent English;
