ü Installing and upgrading Linux system software on company servers and computers.

ü Creating Linux file systems.

ü Setting up and maintaining Linux user accounts and access management systems.

ü Implementing network and computer system policies.

ü Detecting and troubleshooting software and hardware issues.

ü Responding to user requests and software errors.

ü Complying with ITIL processes in daily operation.

ü Working with monitoring platform admin to setup key indicators of Linux servers.

ü Working with backup admin to configure application/data to be backed up.

ü Applying patches and upgrades when necessary.

ü Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a similar field.

ü 5 years’ work experience as a Linux Administrator is preferred.

ü Knowledge of UNIX and LINUX operating systems, storage environments, file systems, and network protocols.

ü Detailed knowledge of Linux principles, file editing, Linux commands, and file manipulation.

ü Familiarity with Windows, UNIX, LINUX, and LINUX shell scripting.

ü Knowledge of networking principles including routing, subnets, TCP, IP, VLANs, and UDP.

ü Understanding of backup procedures and storage management.

ü In-depth knowledge of computer hardware systems including circuit boards, memory modules, and processors.

ü Excellent troubleshooting skills.

ü Good reading and speaking in English.
