Responsibilities:
? To ensure that you safeguard and promote the welfare of students in the School (in line with Dulwich College International’s Safeguarding Framework/Policy/Code of Conduct.
? A collective approach to maintaining a high standard of positive behaviour management.
? Maintaining a high standard of the learning environment throughout the school (incorporating Engaging Spaces/Learning for Any Environment- age appropriate).
? The adequate storage and care of resources- year group and curriculum specific.
? To work effectively as a member of the Junior School team, establishing and maintaining good relationships with colleagues, parents and students.
? To take responsibility for implementing Dulwich College Beijing policies and practices.
? To work with the class teachers effectively to ensure all students have the opportunity to meet their potential.
? To support with the assessing, recording and monitoring of each student’s progress in line with Dulwich College expectations, including those students who come under the support of our Student Support Services Team (English Support, Learning Support and Counselling).
? To ensure high quality learning experiences are available to students.
? To use teaching and learning strategies that keep students engaged through effective questioning, lively presentation, and good use of resources.
? To create a safe and stimulating learning environment that supports learning and in which students feel secure and confident.
? To support and supervise throughout the school day, both in the learning environment and outside (outdoor learning/breaks and lunches).
? To organise, attend and supervise school-based activities/trips.
? To be a positive role model to the students taught through personal conduct.
? To take responsibility for professional development, including Performance Management and Professional Learning procedures.
? To attend in school training, as directed by the Junior School Leadership Team.
? To contribute to the school’s weekly enrichment (ECA) programme.
? To contribute to parent workshops.
? To play a full part in the life of the school community and support our ethos.

Skills and Experience Required
? 1-3 years of related working experience
? Ability to build relationships with other team member
? Ability to express her/his view on related work openly
? College degree required, Bachelor’s degree preferred
? Good attitude to work, sense of initiative and strong responsibility
? Good computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Access and email
? Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
? Language ability-fluent Mandarin Chinese & English
