Key Responsibilities:
? Data Analysis: Collect, analyze, and interpret transportation data, including route performance, carrier performance, shipping costs, and inventory levels.
? Reporting: Create detailed reports and dashboards to communicate key performance metrics, trends, and insights to management and relevant stakeholders.
? Optimization: Identify opportunities to optimize transportation routes, reduce costs, and improve delivery times while maintaining service quality.
? Partners with service providers / freight forwarders / industry experts to benchmark and propose enhancements for strategic roadmap.
? Partners with Sourcing and Planning Department to execute air to ocean mode shifts while driving improved container utilization.
? Vendor Management: Evaluate and manage relationships with transportation vendors, carriers, and third-party logistics providers to ensure efficient and cost-effective services.
? Compliance: Ensure compliance with transportation regulations, safety standards, and industry best practices.
? Technology Utilization: Utilize transportation management systems (TMS) and other software tools to streamline processes and improve visibility into transportation operations.
? Cost Analysis: Conduct cost-benefit analysis and recommend cost-saving initiatives, such as consolidation of shipments or mode optimization.
? Continuous Improvement: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement process improvements and drive continuous improvement initiatives in transportation operations.
? Risk Management: Identify and mitigate risks related to transportation operations, including disruptions, delays, and supply chain interruptions.
? Support the development of the Transportation Strategy and evolution in close partnership with the Global Transportation leadership team.

Qualifications:
? Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field.
? 5+ years of experience in transportation analysis, logistics, or supply chain management.
? Proficiency in data analysis and relevant software tools (e.g., Microsoft applications, Cognos, Tableau, TMS).
? Strong knowledge of transportation regulations and industry trends.
? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
? Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
? Project management experience is a plus.
? Experience working with freight forwarders in air and ocean transportation.
