Major Responsibilities and objectives:

· Ensure the Group Companies are in compliance with relevant tax laws and regulations by conducting tax health check

· Keep updates on changes in tax laws and regulations and assist Assistant Director - Taxation to carry out tax implication assessment on the business

· Improve and standardize the taxation related processes by exploring the automated solutions to enhance the efficiency and accuracy

Major Tasks & Activities:

· Review the monthly and annual tax filings of the Group Companies

· Coordinate the annual transfer pricing review by external tax consultant and assist Assistant Director - Taxation in reviewing the transfer pricing documentation

· Provide timely support to Assistant Director – Taxation in preparing responses on queries raised by tax authorities and providing support to the Group Companies on tax inspections

· Improve and standardize the related processes across the Group Companies for enhancing efficiency and accuracy of tax filing and other taxation related processes

· Assist Assistant Director - Taxation in providing the Group Companies with any tax advice as necessary

· Review business models prepared by the Business Development Team and timely provide taxation advice as necessary

· Conduct research on latest tax laws and regulations and advise general taxation matters

· Carry out ad hoc assignments as required

Skills, Qualifications and Experience Requirements

· Bachelor degree in tax, accounting or equivalent major with formal training at a Technical Institute

· Experience in dealing with officers of tax authorities

· Experience in international real estate industry is a definite advantage

· Good PC knowledge including MS WORD, EXCEL and POWERPOINT. Good knowledge in other digital tools is a plus

· Good command of Chinese and English

· Good interpersonal skills with good teamwork spirit

· Partially qualified in CPA/TA is an advantage
