Job Description
? Independently manage existing business in the designated territory. Maintain relationships with current customers and Prospect potential customers. Prepare, implement and monitor the short- and long-term business plan for the designated territory.
? Represent the company at various community and business meetings to promote the company.
? Build strong understanding of new customers and their marketplaces through a broad range of information sources, identify and lead new business opportunities with the customers in the designated territory.
? Design and execute business development, sales and marketing strategies.
? Serve as an initial touchpoint for all new customers and leads. Draft and present contract proposals to customers.
? Uncover and evaluate customers’ needs for CRTDMO business and manage execution of CDA/NDA by closely working with internal teams.
? Work closely with internal teams to meet client project requirements. Provide a high level of customer support. Work directly with customers and ensure customer service levels exceed expectations.
The Successful Applicant
? Bachelor’s degree in life science background, such as pharmaceutics, medical or biology. An advanced degree (MSc, PhD) or equivalent is preferred.
? Native or entirely fluent in English, Chinese is a plus.
? Strong negotiating skills and Effective communication skills.
? Strong network in CDMO and pharmaceutical market in the designated territory.
? Strong experience in business development, sales and marketing in the pharmaceutical/CDMO/CRO industry.
? Experience in the life sciences industry with preference given to pharmaceutical industry including development, CRO, CDMO and bioprocessing, especially for the below listed Business Units
? Biologics Drug Substance Development and Manufacturing services
? Pharmaceutical Development, Formulation Development and Clinical Trial Material (CTM) Manufacturing services for Drug Products
? Commercial Manufacturing services for Drug Products
? Recombinant protein and peptide services
? Nano-antibody services
? Plasmid DNA services
? Vaccine services
? mRNA services
? Dynamic and highly self-motivated, result-driven and detail-oriented individual
? SalesForce or CRM familiarity desired
? Ability to travel as required
