JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
1.Managing Design Institutes, Consultants, and End Users:
-Primary Focus: Collaborate with design institutes, consultants, and end users to promote and prescribe the VSD brand.
-Influence project specifications by ensuring that the VSD brand is preferred and specified in project designs.
-Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in design institutes, consulting firms, and end-user organizations to drive brand preference and specification.
-Manage interactions and engagements to increase the chances of winning projects for the VSD brand.
-Conduct presentations, technical discussions, and workshops to educate stakeholders on the benefits and features of the VSD brand.
2.Collaborate for Technical Consultation:
-Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and challenges related to mining, mineral, and metals operations.
-Provide expert advice on the selection, implementation, and optimization of variable speed drives.
3.Collaborate for System Design and Specification:
-Design tailored VSD solutions that match the unique demands of mining and mineral metals applications, such as conveyors, crushers, and ventilation systems.
-Specify the appropriate drive parameters, including power ratings, control methods, and protection features.
4.Project Management:
-Oversee the project from initial consultation to final commissioning, ensuring all technical and operational requirements are met.
-Coordinate with other engineers, vendors, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of VSD systems.
5.Compliance and Standards:
-Ensure that all designs and implementations comply with relevant industry standards and safety regulations.
-Stay informed about new technologies and regulatory changes that impact the mining, mineral, and metals sectors and VSD applications.
6.Support for Troubleshooting:
-Collaborate to provide technical support and troubleshooting for installed VSD systems.
-Collaborate to conduct regular maintenance checks and updates to ensure optimal performance and longevity of the drive systems.
7.Training and Documentation:
-Develop and deliver training programs for clients and their staff on the proper use and maintenance of VSD systems.
-Create detailed documentation, including design specifications, operation manuals, and maintenance guides.
8.Sales Support:
-Assist the sales team in technical presentations and discussions with potential clients.
-Provide detailed technical proposals and cost estimates to support the sales process.
9.Partner in Innovation and Development:
-Participate in the research and development of new VSD technologies and applications tailored to the mining, mineral, and metals industries.
-Continuously seek to improve and innovate existing drive solutions to enhance efficiency and reliability
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE :
? Bachelor's or Master's degree in engineering.
? Minimum of 5+ years as Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, Design Institute Consultant or relevant technical business position in the Variable Speed Drives industry.
? Have existing network, relationship, and access to design institutes, end-users and consultants of the segment.
? Demonstrated strong proficiency in technical field sales in Variable Speed Drives with business/Industry knowledge.
? Strong sales management experience is preferred.
? Excellent written and spoken English is preferred.
