上海民辦包玉剛實(shí)驗(yàn)學(xué)校是為了紀(jì)念?lèi)?ài)國(guó)愛(ài)鄉(xiāng)的政治家、企業(yè)家和慈善家包玉剛先生而新創(chuàng)建的非營(yíng)利學(xué)校，由包氏家族全資建設(shè)。學(xué)校的理事長(zhǎng)包陪慶教授是包玉剛先生的長(zhǎng)女, 她對(duì)于文化教育有著終生的熱情，并擁有設(shè)立與發(fā)展學(xué)校和教育機(jī)構(gòu)的豐富經(jīng)驗(yàn)。她是原中英友誼獎(jiǎng)學(xué)金計(jì)劃的主席，幫助過(guò)許多中國(guó)優(yōu)秀學(xué)者進(jìn)入英國(guó)深造。

Shanghai YK Pao School is an unique new school founded in memory of Sir Yue-Kong Pao, a renowned businessman, statesman and philanthropist. The School offers an education rooted in Chinese culture yet integrated with an international approach and perspective, to allow students to continue studies at top universities around the world. Our goal is to develop creative, independent and responsible students through a student-centred approach to teaching, emphasizing arts, sports, group activities and community service as well as academic studies. We plan to offer full primary and secondary education, comprising five years at Primary level and seven years at Secondary level, with full boarding in Secondary. Subjects are taught in Chinese and English by native language-speaking teachers. We are working closely with leading schools including Eton College and The Dragon School in the UK as well as key schools in Shanghai to develop exchange and partnership programs.
